Workshops

We are now hosting a series of workshops. This is to help strenghten the folk community in the Bath area and to introduce new players to this rewarding practice. Our next works shops are:

Traditional Irish Singing with Mai Hernon

Thursday 18th March 7-10pm £16

This will run instead of the March Singers group

Following the success of her last visit and workshop we are pleased to have Mai back for a second time. A regular Tutor on the Tubercurry and Drumshambo Summer schools she will also be a featured tutor on the Bath festival summer school. Mai is from Gurteen in County Sligo a rich Hamlet of Irish music Culture. The workshop will focus on learning new songs, how to deliver the feeling intraditional ballads and using your own natural voice developing the strengths of individual singers.
