Workshops We are now hosting a series of workshops. This
is to help strenghten the folk community in the Bath area and to introduce new players to this rewarding practice. Our next
works shops are: Folk Music Workshops With:Jon Hicks: Celtic & English GuitarCited by Arty McGlynn as one of
the most talented & innovative guitarists in Irish music, & recently described as a “Celtic
Hendrix” Jon is a master of his craft. The workshop will deal with various tunings, the fundamentals of good guitar technique as
well as accompanying songs and Irish tunesDavid Garner: Irish & Scottish fiddleSemi finalist for the Scottish Musician of the year 2008
David is known for his explosive and inventive style. He will be instructing how to develop a good
feeling for Celtic fiddle playingMarick Baxter: Irish music on the Boehm System Flute:A student of Mary Bergin Marick is one of a minority
of players that can play Irish music with the Authentic ornaments and style. This workshop will focus on getting the
